Bob and Mary Ann Pearce of Pearce’s Farm Stand have been nominated for the 2026 Governor’s Tourism Legacy Award, honoring their six decades of commitment to preserving and celebrating Wisconsin’s agricultural heritage. The winner will be announced later this month at the Wisconsin Governor’s Conference on Tourism in Milwaukee, and we’re all cheering them on. Join us this Saturday, December 6th at 5 p.m. in Downtown Lake Geneva as we celebrate a very special milestone—the 50th Anniversary of the Electric Christmas Parade. Our 2025 Impact Award winners will serve as this year’s parade judges, selecting the top non-profit and for-profit floats. Who knew a February snowstorm could be such a gift? A couple weeks ago Visit Lake Geneva filmed a new winter commercial with our spokesman Donald Driver. The six inches of fresh powder provided the perfect backdrop for downhill skiing at The Mountain Top, fudge-making at Kilwins, igloo-dining, s’more-making, and trying on the latest winter fashions at Overland’s. Thank you to every business who hosted a very large film crew and helped us put together an exciting new commercial. Lake Geneva Winterfest is home to America's Snow Sculpting Invitational, and to mark this special anniversary, we'll welcome back past champions from across the country for an epic competition of skill and art.
